Abba House's Denise Craig Awarded National Service Award

Chattanooga resident, Denise Craig, was awarded the F. Marvin Myers Service Award by the National Association of Church Business Administration (NACBA).  Denise is the Chief Financial Officer at Abba’s House in Hixson and a Certified Church Administrator through NACBA. Denise has served on the NACBA Professional Training and Standards Committee, is the president of the Ocoee Region Chapter of NACBA, and also serves on the Editorial Advisory Panel for Church Executive Magazine.

Abba’s House is a proud member of ECFA, the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.

 

The Myers Service Award is named in honor of F. Marvin Myers, CCA, for his support, dedication, and seventeen years of loyal service to the membership of NACBA as Executive Director. His vigorous leadership and commitment to the ministry of church administration led the organization to “reach for the stars” in providing a network of support for administrators and a foundation of confidence through continued professional education and training.

 

The Myers award is given to one or more individuals displaying a strong commitment to the organization through chapter leadership, special service, chapter organization, national service of membership, and professional support. Recipients could include individuals recognized as future leaders or “rising stars” as well as long-term members who enthusiastically support the benefits of membership of NACBA and the church administration profession. Criteria include active membership in NACBA.
