Lucile Sartin
Lucile (Callahan) Jeffress Sartin, 95, of Rossville, died on Friday, June 8, 2012.
She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and Rossville where she retired from Memorial Hospital and was a member of Delray Baptist Church. Her passions in life were playing the piano and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Jeffress; son, David Jeffress; stepdaughter, Barbara (Jeffress) Page; parents, Gabriel Rodulphus "Roe" and Dora (Wyatt) Callahan; brothers, Earl and Edd Callahan; and sisters, Gladys (Callahan) Bevis and Mary Ellen (Callahan) Hixson.
She is survived by her son, Terry (Shirley) Jeffress of Rossville; daughters, Peggy Brown of Rossville and Susan Dame of Rock Spring; 12 grandchildren, Randy (Sharon) Stephenson of Smyrna, Tn., Nikki Lynn (R.D.) Herring of Bean Station, Tn., Nancy (David) Narwood of Gadsen, South Carolina, Danny (Karen) Brown of Ringgold, Scott and Tony Brown of Rossville, Johnny Jeffress of Ringgold, Elisa Ramey of Rossville, Constance Rockholt of Chattanooga, Candice Lewis of Fort Oglethorpe, Angela (David) Davis of Soddy, and Andrew Wyatt (Tasha) Dame of Dacula, Ga.; 16 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 12, at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Reverend Shad Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga Memorial Park
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 10, from 2-8 p.m., and Monday, June 11, from 3-8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory located at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
