Derrick, Mary Olene "Neanie" (LaFayette)

Mary  Olene  “Neanie”  Derrick,  85,  of  LaFayette, GA, died  Friday,  January 11, 2013.


She was preceded  in  death  by  her husband,  Tom  Dabbs;  brothers,  Neuman  Derrick and  Truman  Derrick;  and parents,  Delmer  and  Pearl  Sutton  Derrick.


She is survived  by her  sisters,  Nona  Pendergrass,  of  LaFayette  and  Louise  Jackson,  of  Grant,  AL; and  several  nieces  and  nephews.


Funeral will be  from  the  Wallis  Memorial  Chapel  Sunday, January 13  at  2 p.m.  Service will be conducted  by  Rev.  Jim  Powell. Interment will be in  the  Crest-Lawn  Memorial  Park. Pallbearers  are  Jason  Pendergrass,  Jacob  Pendergrass,  Nicholas  Pendergrass,  Chance  Pendergrass,  Derrick  Henton  and  Tylor  Pendergrass. Honorary  pallbearers  are  Patrick  Doyle,  Patrick  Cook,  Jimmy  Pendergrass,  Johnny  Pendergrass,  Ralph  Henton,  Wade  Jackson,  and  Michael  Hobbs.


In  lieu  of  flowers  donations  may  be  made  to  the  Harbor  Lights  Baptist  Church  Youth  Group.

 The  arrangements  are  by  Wallis-Wilbanks  Funeral  home,  LaFayette.
