Reva K. Phillips, 90, of Guntersville, Alabama, and formerly of Chattanooga, died on Tuesday, January 22, 2013.

She was born in Knox County, Tn., on April 11, 1922.  Reva was of the Baptist faith, always telling others how to be saved.  She was a loving mother and a hard worker.

Reva was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Phillips, Sr.; son, Jerry Phillips; stepson, Elbert Phillips; stepdaughter, Margaret Pennington; two brothers, Floyd Leake and Glen Leake; half-brother, Richard Leake and a half-sister, Anna Trotter. 

Ms. Phillips is survived by her daughter, Sherry Ash of Guntersville, AL; Delores Haga of Guntersville, AL and son, Ray (Marie) Phillips of Loxahatchee, Florida; two stepsons, Harold (Frediborg) Phillips, Jr. of Stanford, Florida and David (Leslie) Phillips of Union Grove, AL; along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 28, at the North Chapel in Hixson.

Services for Reva will follow at 1 p.m. on Monday at the North Chapel with Reverend Joe Guthrie officiating.  Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
