Josie Lou Hughes Baker, 88, of Dalton, GA, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Baker; parents, Sam & Miley Hughes; and daughters, Ann Couch and Connie Smith.
She was a member of Cedar Valley Cathedral of Praise.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Carmen & Mickey Rogers, Wayne Couch & Robbi Peterson, Glenda & Nathan Dean and Holly Smith; great-grandchildren, Shauna Kelly, Brooke Bowen, Michael Smith, Tanner Rouillier and Casey Smith; great-great-grandchildren, Trista Kelly, Hunter Kelly, Grant Kelly, Tapanga Bowen, Logan Bowen and Brendan Bowen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday January 26, at 2 p.m. at Cedar Valley Cathedral of Praise with Rev. Clayton Brown officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home Friday, January 25 from 6-9 p.m.
