Harold Steve Robertson, 68, of Dalton, GA, died Thursday afternoon, October 10, 2013 at the Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton.

Harold was born March 16, 1945 in Dalton, a son of the late Robert Edward Robertson, Sr. and Johnnie Holloway Robertson; and was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Edward “Bobby” Robertson, Jr.  

Harold proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.  He was employed at Glaze Supply Company for over 14 years and at City Electric Company for the past ten years.  He never missed a day of work during his working life. He was of the Baptist Faith.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and George King; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gerry Robertson, Donnie and Gail Robertson, Gerald Robertson, Kenneth and Frieda Robertson; special friends, Phyllis Wood, Jimmy Stewart, Josh Foster and James Satterfield; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

Services to celebrate the life Mr. Harold Steve Robertson will be held Sunday, October 13, at 2 p.m., from Ponders Melrose Chapel,  with Reverend Lonnie Starnes officiating. He will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Murray County, GA, with Ricky Hammontree, Eric Robertson, Egan Stanley, Bobby Robertson, Jr. and Jason Robertson serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, October 12 and after  noon Sunday, October 13.

Arrangements are by Ponders Melrose Chapel.
