Thursday Is Last Day To Pay 2012 Property Taxes Without Penalty Or Interest

  • Wednesday, February 27, 2013

The last day to pay the 2012 property taxes without incurring additional expenses of interest and penalty will be Thursday.

The office at the courthouse will open at 7:30 a.m. and will remain open until 6 p.m., and the Bonny Oaks office hours will be 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The property owners who still owe the 2009 taxes will need to have those paid no later than April 1, to avoid their property being sold in this year’s tax sale.

Mr. Hullander said that total collections are 11 million over last year’s collections.  He attributes this to the county’s natural growth as well as the taxpayers having the options of making partial payments and pre-payments.
