Joyce Delorice Roberson, 79, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, died on Monday, March 11, 2013, in a local hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph Robert Edmondson and Mary Arizona Lewallen Edmondson and was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Roberson, niece, Debbie Weber and two nephews, Jerry and David Roberson.

She attended Fairview Baptist Church and was a huge “Lady Vols” basketball fan.

Survivors include her two children, Joe (Angela) Roberson, of Cleveland, Tn., Kathy (Loretta Fortney) Roberson, of Athens, Tn., two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, sister, Pat (Syd)Dell, of  Connersville, In., brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harold (Carolyn) Roberson and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 14, in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Reverend Andy Wilson officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4–8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, at the funeral home.
