Windy Brooks joins Orange Grove Center as the Development Coordinator for Adult Services.

Ms. Brooks is responsible for the development and marketing of the center’s Community Supports, Georgia Services, Industrial Training Center, John F. Germ Recycling Center and secure document destruction program.  She will also secure contracts with businesses that will provide employment and vocational opportunities through her community outreach.

Prior to Orange Grove, she was the associate director of United Way of Greater Chattanooga's Volunteer Center.  In that role, she served as a community resource for volunteerism, coordinating placements within United Way, and connecting volunteers with other nonprofit and governmental organizations throughout the community.

In addition, she was the coordinator of the high school collegiate program at the University of Louisiana Monroe, where she assisted high school students as they earned college credits.  She also served as the campus tour coordinator, responsible for the “University Welcome Program” for prospective students, parents and alumni.

Ms. Brooks has a bachelor of science in Human Services from Upper Iowa University.  She is also a community volunteer and a member of the Chattanooga Women's Leadership Institute.
