David Richardson
David Timothy Richardson, 77, of Chattanooga,Tennessee, died on Friday, March 29, 2013 in a flying accident.
David was born Feb. 14, 1936 in Pacific, Mo., to William and Helen Richardson. He graduated from Collinsville High School in 1954 and Southern Illinois University in June 1958 with a Bachelor of Music Education. He continued to get his Master of Church Music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Tx., July 20,1962.
On June 9, 1957, he married the former Earlita Sanders in Wayne City, Illinois. He was a member of the Century men. He was a man of many talents one of which included flying airplanes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Helen Richardson.
David is survived by his wife, Earlita Richardson, four children, Beth (John) Roueche, Terri (Brian) Hendon, Timothy (Kristy) Richardson, and Melodie (Jason) Jones; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Bill, Jim, and Fred Richardson.
A celebration of his life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, at Ridgedale Baptist Church with Reverend Bill Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
