Yvonne Cooper Tuck, 76, of Rocky Face, GA, died on Sunday March 31, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Yvonne was born October 5, 1936, in Dalton, GA, a daughter of the late Ernest Harry and Stella Ellen Bearden Cooper; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Junior Tuck; brothers, Ernest Charles Cooper and Charles Warren Cooper; and sister, Kay Moss.
She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, William F. Seay of Rocky Face, GA, Jeffery A. Tuck of Dalton, GA, Jamie and Adrienne Tuck of Chatsworth, GA; daughters, Pamela Jean and Charles Hinds of Tunnel Hill, GA and Sandy Robertson of Destin, FL; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Kip Cooper of Ellijay, GA, Donnie and Shirley Cooper of Dalton, GA and Pat Cooper of Chatsworth, GA; sisters, Bobbie Wise of Atlanta and Jean Mathis of Dalton, GA; 13 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Yvonne Cooper Tuck will be held Wednesday April 3 at 2 p.m. from the Grace Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Ron Taylor officiating. She will lie in state at the church from 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Dawnville United Methodist Church Cemetery. Charles Hinds, Juan Martinez, Javi Valenzuela, Gerald Mathis, Dewey Mathis and Alan Cochran will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2.
