Richard Lee Chambers of Ooltewah, Tennessee, died on Thursday April 4, 2013.
He was born in East Ridge, to Joyce Ivey and Fred Chambers.
Ric was in the hotel business in his early career. During his association in the executive search industry, he met his wife of 18 years, Sandy Brandt Chambers. Later, he was a pioneer in internet domain name registrations.
Surviving are his wife, Sandy; his children, Jamison (Julie) Chambers and Amanda (Jason) Gilreath; his sisters, Michelle Carver, Elizabeth Jones and Margaret McPhail; and grandchildren, Johnathan Gilreath, Leah Gilreath, Jordan Gilreath, Austin Chambers and Ashlee Chambers.
A graveside service will be held at the Mizpah Cemetery at the corner of Collins and Third Street on Sunday, April, 7 at 10 a.m., followed by a Meal of Consolation at the Mizpah Congregation at 923 McCallie Ave. for family and friends.
