Carter, Robert "Rob" (Dalton)

Robert “Bob” Carter, 67, of Dalton, GA, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Hamilton Medical Center. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Carter, Sr. 

Bob was a veteran of the United States Army and faithfully attended the First Christian Church. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Sherry Adams Carter of Dalton; sons, Michael Carter and Ty Carter; mother and step-father, Billie Rose and Mickey Hawkins of Dalton; sister and brother-in-law, Linda Jo and Danny Daniels of Harrison, TN; step-brothers and wives, Johnny and Sherry Hawkins, Jeff and Regina Hawkins and Darryl Hawkins all of Dalton; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be Friday, May 24 at 4 p.m. at the First Christian Church on Dug Gap Road with Brother Tim McIntosh officiating. 

The family will receive friends at the church on Friday, May 24 from 2-4 p.m. 

The family asks that flowers please be omitted and that memorials may be made to the First Christian Church, P.O Box 15, Dalton, Ga. 30722.
