Lorene Morgan
Lorene Franklin Morgan, 92, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, died on Wednesday, June 12, 2013.
She was a member of the Oak Street Baptist Church. Ms. Morgan retired from Signal Knitting Mill after 31 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Leonard Morgan; son, Freddy Morgan; brother, John Franklin, Jr.; sister, Leatrice Shipley, twin sister, Irene Dodd and her parents, John and Bertha Franklin.
Lorene is survived by her daughters, Jeanette (Herman) Johnson of Murfreesboro, Tn., Linda Key of Chattanooga; sister, Mary Agnes Weiss of Soddy Daisy; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, at Oak Street Baptist Church with Reverend Louis Johnson and Reverend Joe Sanchez officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be the deacons at Oak Street Baptist Church and the honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
