Jimmy Baggett, 65, of Signal Mountain, Tennessee, died on June 3, 2013. 

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was employed at Hamilton County Department of Education for 33 years. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lucille Baggett; brother, Jerry Baggett. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Carolyn Baggett; son, Billy Baggett, Tiftonia, Tn.; daughter, Kristy Baggett, Signal Mountain; grandchildren, Scott, Madison, Leah and Mary; sisters, Joyce Carpenter of Sequatchie County, Helen Watts of Hixson, Dean Morrison, Wilma Higdon, Carolyn Ott all of Signal Mountain; several nieces and nephews. 

The family would like to thank his amazing friends Rash and McDade and his co-workers. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 6, at 1 p.m. at Lone Oak Church of God with Reverend Teddy Ott officiationg. Burial will be in Baggett Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. 

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 4, from 4-9 p.m. and Wednesday, from 2-9 p.m. at Lone Oak Church of God.
