Long, Bunton Lead Tennessee Tigers To Hoopfest Title

Chattanoogans Jordan Long and Kenny Bunton, both starters for the Tennessee Tigers 15U, led their team to a 11-0 Hoopfest championship beating out some of the top teams in the nation.

The Tigers first took on the powerful Pontiac Cobras out of Michigan, winning 60-55, then faced the Louisville Magic with DJ Tyree and won 71 to 62 on Thursday. The Tigers overwhelmed the Shining Stars Ohio, 74 to 41 to make it to the final 8.

TheTigers took on a very tough Team Manimal out of Kentucky, scrapping by 56-55.

They went on to play the Indiana powerhouse Club Elite for the championship. With Bunton scoring 22, the Tigers prevailed, winning by 6 for the Gold to go 11-0 in both the Spring and the Fall Hoopfest.
