Summer Gatherings at Burks United Methodist Church, 6433 Hixson Pike, will begin Wednesday, July 10, at 6:30 p.m. in the narthex for a time of discussion of controversial issues from a spiritual perspective. The topic this week will be "Allegiance, whom do you serve?" Come early at 6 for coffee, snacks and a time of fellowship before the discussion starts.
