Parkridge Health System Names Cornelius As Information Technology Director

Parkridge Health System has appointed David Cornelius as information technology director for the four Parkridge campuses in Chattanooga.

Mr. Cornelius has 15 years of experience in IT management with Parkridge parent company HCA. He comes to the Parkridge system from HCA TriStar’s Eastside Medical Center near Atlanta. While at Eastside, Mr. Cornelius managed IT services for a multiple-campus hospital, an offsite imaging center, and multiple Ambulatory Surgery Centers. Before serving at Eastside, Mr. Cornelius was IT Director at HCA’s Doctors Hospital of Columbus, Ga.

“David has a wealth of experience in Information Technology and Services, and we are excited to welcome him as part of the Parkridge family,” notes Tom Jackson, chief financial officer for Parkridge Health System.  

Mr. Cornelius is a graduate of Columbus State University and Auburn University. His first day full-time with Parkridge Health System will be Oct. 7.
