Golf Tournament Benefiting Disabled American Veterans Is Oct. 14

The Disabled American Veterans Robert Loveday Chapter $6 annual charity golf tournament will be held Monday, Oct. 14 at the Brainerd Golf and Country Club. 

The green fee is $45 per player and it will be a four man team, select shot.  Tee off time is 8 a.m. with a shot gun start. 

Two $5 Mulligans are allotted per player.  The Mulligan may be used anywhere on course except on target holes.  

There will be hole-in-one prizes for $10,000, a LCD Sharp television, Calloway irons and airline tickets for two.  

The first place team will receive $200, second place team will receive $100.  Where marked there will be prizes for closest to the hole, longest drive, and straightest drive, each for $25. 

All players must check in prior to 7:30 a.m.  Entrance fees must be received prior to tee off.

All funds raised will be used to aid and assist local veterans: WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm/Shield and the War on Terrorism.
