Outbuilding Burns At Sale Creek, But Nearby Homes Saved

An outbuilding burned at Sale Creek on Sunday night, but nearby homes were saved.

At 9 p.m., a homeowner made a frantic 911 call reporting his outbuilding was on fire at 873 Rugged Way. The Sale Creek Volunteer Fire Department responded and arrived on the scene confirming an outbuilding on fire with structure endangerment. 

Firefighters worked quickly to contained the fire to the outbuilding and keep the fire from spreading to the adjacent homes. 

The outbuilding was a total loss with heat damage to the two adjacent homes. Total damages are unknown at this time. 

The cause of the fire is undetermined and will be under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.
