Betty Lynn Michael, 86, of Rocky Face, GA, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Michael; and parents, Harry and Edna Baxter.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Harry and Joan Michael of Thomaston and Tommy and Carole Michael of Rocky Face; grandchildren, Christi Screws, Jason (Lisa) Michael, Brian Michael and Jeff (Brandi) Michael; great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Elizabeth Michael, Cody Davis, Matthew, Jeremy (Brittany) and Sandi Screws; and cousins, Davis Baxter and Doris Masters.
The funeral service to celebrate the life of Betty Lynn Michael will be held Friday, October 3, at 11 a.m. at Rocky Face Baptist Church with Rev. Vann Smith officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Face Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, October 2 from 5-9 p.m.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Rocky Face Baptist Church.
