Hugh Smith Morrow, Sr., 87, of Lookout Mountain, Tennessee, died on Saturday, October 11, 2014.

Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014 at Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Joe Novenson officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends for visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the church.

Mr. Morrow was born in Birmingham, to the late Thomas Smith Morrow and Florence Smith Morrow on July 4, 1927. He was a 1949 graduate of the University of Alabama and moved to Chattanooga in 1951. He was a member of Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church and retired as vice president of Diversified Marketing.

Survivors include his wife,  Alice Joiner Morrow; Children, Mary Alice Morrow Sanders, Leigh Morrow Plante, Hugh Smith Morrow, Jr.; Grandchildren William Richard Sanders III Carly Morrow Moss, Meredith Morrow Brooks, Hannah Joiner Morrow, Katherine Marcelle Plante and Lorah Elizabeth Plante.

Arrangements are by Wann Funeral Home & Cremation Center, at the foot of historic Lookout Mountain, St. Elmo, 423 821-7551.
