Donald Elex Simmons, 8, of Pikeville, TN, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Erlanger Hospital.
He loved God and his love touched everyone in his presence. He was a 2nd grader at Wheeler Elementary School.
He is survived by his parents Ricky Simmons, Jr. of Pikeville and Cynthia Simmons of Ohio; sisters, Shayla and Shaunda Simmons; and grandparents, Rick Simmons, Sr and Lisa Haney, Donald Lewis and Dena Ditto.
A Celebration of Elex’s life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, October 21 at 3 p.m. with Bro. Rudy Oakes officiating. Burial will be in Iron Hill Cemetery.
