First Exhibition Of Latin American Traditional Costumes And Objects

The Coalition of Latino Leaders, with the support of The Bandy Heritage Center will host an Opening Reception to launch the First Exhibition of Latin American Traditional Costumes and Objects, as part of the Latino Culture Festival. 

The Exhibition will be open to the public from Oct. 27 through Nov 12 at The Bandy Heritage Center at Dalton State College, located at Dalton Freight Depot, 305 S. Depot St. and includes traditional dresses from different regions of Mexico, as well as some pieces of clothing from Guatemala, El Salvador, Chile, Argentina and Bolivia.

There are also some pieces of folk art from various Mexican states, as well as Venezuela, Guatemala and El Salvador.

Also on display will be textile accessories made of wool, silk, etc.
As well as jewelry pieces made from natural resources brought from Chile, Argentina, and Bolivia, such necklaces made of copper, volcanic stones, and other stones.
