A brother-sister team has been charged in a Brainerd burglary.

Arrested on charges of aggravated burglary, theft over $1,000 and vandalism were Shaquandra Vinson, 22, and Eldrin Vinson, 19. They reside at 454 Gillespie Road.

Police responded to a residential burglary at 7000 Cherryton Dr., unit #29.

The vehicle involved was described as a green Ford Explorer with damage.

Police spotted Eldrin Vinson driving the damaged Ford Explorer a block from the location of the break-in. After spotting police, he pulled in a CVS Pharmacy.

Police said Vinson's story "didn't make sense, and the 60" flat screen TV laying in the back of the vehicle didn't help."

Police said they verified the identities of the suspect as well as the vehicle with the victims. The TV found in the car was missing from the apartment, which showed signs of a forced entry.

Ms. Vinson "knew before hand that her brother was going to commit a crime," police said.
