Pollack Llewellyn Boyd aka "Poots” of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died quietly Wednesday morning, October 29, 2014.

Pollack was born June 6, 1957. He graduated from Bright School in 1969, McCallie School in 1975, and University of North Carolina in 1979. Pollack worked in the insurance for most of his life, first as an underwriter at USF&G in Nashville, then join Associated General Agency in Chattanooga, to work in the family business.                                                                                         

He is survived by his father, Llewellyn Boyd; mother, Ann Cullom Boyd; sister, Bobbie Boyd Kwasnik; brother, Martin Cullom Boyd; brother, Hanes Llewellyn Boyd; son, Cullom (Kiersten) Hagood Boyd; son, Henry Llewellyn Boyd; daughter, Adele Dunbar Boyd; daughter, Mary Pollack Boyd and partner, Jethro.  

Graveside  services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31, in Forest Hills Cemetery, Tennessee Avenue in St. Elmo with the Reverend Dr. Rob Nichols officiating. 

Pollack was an animal lover, and in lieu of flowers memorials can be made to ETTA - East Tennessee Alliable for Animals, 5251 C Hwy. 153, P.O. Box 119 Hixson, Tn. 37343.
