Like most sports, Dirt Track Racing in the Tennessee/Georgia area are stepping up in October for Breast Cancer Awareness representing with the "pink ribbon" on race cars. Chattanooga's Michael Arp drives his #75 "Harrison Transmission, Arp Lawn Service, Hixson Fabrication, Truck Service Co" sponsored race car at Boyd's Speedway in East Ridge and Cleveland Speedway and will be flying the pink throughout October.

Meanwhile in Cleveland, racer Tyler Adams, who's leading the Late Model points at North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth keeps the "pink ribbon" on the front of his #99 "Finishline Service Center, Tommy Snelley Racing, PPM Racing Products" Muddygirl race car during every race in 2014.  Adams recently picked up the teams first win of the season at the newly re-opened Sweetwater racetrack.  

As soon as October ends the racers and fans will step-up for Alzheimer Awareness on Nov. 1 with a charity event with the Vintage Racecars at Boyd's Speedway in East Ridge before the racing season wraps up before the Thanksgiving holidays.
