CCS Wins Over Polk County In Hall of Fame Basketball

The Chattanooga Christian School boys and girls basketball team earned wins Friday night over Polk County in Hall of Fame basketball games. The boys team won 53-38 and the girls won 50-47.

The CCS girls team was led by Joanna Smith's 33 points in their second win of the season.  CCS led by nine going into the fourth quarter.

CCS was able to hold off Polk County  in the final minute to earn the 50-47 win. Polk County was led by Skylar Hatcher who had 16 including three, three pointers

In the boys game, Polk County jumped out to a 15-9 first quarter lead but the Chargers would out score the visitors 27-10 in the second quarter to pull ahead.  CCS went on to win 53-38.

Will Patton had 17 for CCS.  The Chargers are now 1-1 on the season.
