Neil Allan NehrbassSr., 67, of Rossville, died on Friday, November 14, 2014.

He was born in Wausau, Wi., where he lived for most of his life before moving to the North Georgia area about 13 years ago. He made his living as a farmer and brick mason and was a member of Battlefield Ministries Community Church. He loved going to church, making people laugh and spending time with friends and family. He was a loving a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilmer and Anita Nehrbass and two sons.

Survivors include his loving wife of more than 37 years, Linda Faye Stroup Nehrbass of Rossville; seven children, Randy Anderson, Thomas Anderson and Daniel Nehrbass, all of Merrill, Wi., Neil Allan Nehrbass, Jr., Andy Nehrbass, Ashley Nehrbass and Kay Nehrbass all of Rossville; four sisters, Kathleen Kulas of Athens, Wi., LeAnne Barttelp of Wausau, Wi., Mary McCullough of Seminole, Oklahoma and Lynn Moore of Marathon, Wi.; 13 grandchildren; special friend, Uncle Al and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21, at the Battlefield Ministries Community Church with Pastor Darrell Vaughn officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the church on Friday.
