Re:  Bus Traveler Says He Was At Mercy Of High Taxi Fare

Chattanooga, listen to this man and his travails upon arriving here.  It appears that he has a great deal of travel experience from which he makes his very negative comparison.

And listen in other ways.  From visitors who see all the wonderful natural beauty but question why is there so much litter?  Act upon this and enforce the laws that exist and start with those who throw their cigarette butts down with fines, substantial fines, and pursue others as well, i.e. fast food garbage, diapers, etc.

Listen to those that question "bike friendly" as the roadways certainly are not and drivers are not.  It just isn't enough to say you are friendly to the cycling community, it just isn't so.

And listen to those who question the commitment or lack thereof to recycling.  Others states do much more requiring it be done in schools and having labeled recycle containers in parks, rest areas, convenience stores/gas stations and effective curbside programs.

Listen and change, because each of the above gives negative impressions to those visiting here for pleasure or perhaps for business considerations and lowers the living standards for all of us living here now.
