Willa Imogene Chambers Hughes, 90, of Ringgold, Georgia, died on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at her residence.
A lifelong resident of the Ringgold area, she was a member of Boynton Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Luke and Alice Lina Baggett Chambers.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Hobert Reece Hughes of Ringgold; daughter and son-in-law, Alice Faye and Allen Simmons, of Chattanooga; two brothers, Grady "G.L." Chambers and Columbus "C.B." Chambers, both of Ringgold; two grandchildren, Allen Reece Simmons and Patrick Drake Simmons, five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 24, at Dailey Hills Cemetery with Dr. Keith McLeod officiating.
Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel, Ringgold.
