Mary Alice Freeman
Mary Alice Freeman, 62, died on Saturday, December 20, 2014. She entered this life on July 19, 1952.
Mary graduated from Riverside High School in 1971. She attended Electronic Computer Program Institute. She was a faithful member of Resurrected Baptist Church. She also held prior memberships at Galilee Baptist Church and New Salem Baptist Church. She held the position of deaconess at Resurrected Baptist and she was a noted conference speaker and Bible teacher. Everyone who knew her loved her.
She was employed at Resurrected Ministry Learning Center and after leaving, she cared for children in her home. She also has worked at Turnbull Cone Baking Company and Textile Printing Company.
Her parents were the late Jack Fountain and Pearl Chivers. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and Herman Fountain.
She is survived by her faithful husband of 40 years, Elder Charles Lee Freeman; sister, Sherry Robinson; brothers, JC Fountain and Andrew Chivers, all of Chattanooga; brother, Jack Fountain, Jr., Las Vegas, Ne.; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Tuesday, Dec. 30, at Resurrected Baptist Church with Elder Eddie D. Jacks, officiating. Interment will be in National Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of services.
