Police Say Female Robber Told Woman She Would Kill Her In Front Of Her Child If She Did Not Comply

Police said a female robber told a woman she would kill her in front of her child if she did not comply with her demands.

Victoria Harkey, 34, a resident of the Chatt Inn at 2000 E. 23rd St., was charged with aggravated robbery.

Police said the Christmas Eve incident happened at the parking lot of Bi-Lo on 23rd Street.

The victim said she was getting into her car when she was approached by a woman holding a knife. She demanded her purse.

The robber fled toward the Chatt Inn after being given the purse.

Police saturated the area and located a woman matching the description of the robber behind the nearby Cricket store. She was taken back to the scene and the victim identified her.

The victim's wallet was found in Ms. Harkey's pocket.
