Thomas Burns, 86, of Rossville, Georgia, died on Thursday, December 4, 2014 in a local health care facility.

He was retired from Coorstech and was a member of Beulah Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ina Burns, parents, Richard and Burma Burns, brothers, Dawes, Dewayne and Van Burns, sisters, Helen Bell and Dorothy Zimmerman.

Survivors include his daughter, Pam (Bryan) Wattenbarger, grandchildren, Brittany (Justin) Race and Ashton Wattenbarger, sister, Ann Perry and brother, Nyle Lee Burns and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Dec. 8, at 11 a.m. in the South Crest Chapel with the Reverend Neal Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery in Fyffe, Al.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, Dec. 7, from 4-8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
