Polar Plunge Sunday Benefits Special Olympics

Chattanooga supporters will be freezin' for a reason at the Polar Plunge Sunday at 2 p.m., benefiting Special Olympics Tennessee athletes. 

To take the chilly plunge, participants must have a minimum of $50 in donations. Plungers may register online at http://polarplungetn.com/chattanooga or the day of the event.  

Each plunger receives the official long-sleeved Plunge T-shirt and lunch.   

The Plunge will take place at the public beach area of Chester Frost Park from 2-4 p.mm.  To register the day of the event, arrive an hour earlier.  

Participants may plunge in anything but a wetsuit and all plungers must wear shoes that attach to the foot. No flip flops.
