Signal Mountain Baptist Church Youth To Sponsor Auction To Support Annual Mission Trips

  • Monday, February 24, 2014

Signal Mountain Baptist Church youth will sponsor an auction to support their annual mission trips on Saturday at 6 p.m. A free dinner (donations appreciated) will be offered at 5:45 p.m.

Come join and partake of a silent auction at 6 p.m., followed by a live auction at 7 p.m.  This is a superb chance to get some great deals from local merchants and many others.  Funds raised go directly to the projects of the youth groups’ annual mission trips.  Participation in mission trips, while free, is an earned honor.  Each child must fulfill a rigorous list of requirements including church attendance, participation in fundraisers, teaching Vacation Bible School and community service.

Each summer, the church’s minister of missions accompanies approximately 30 students to the coal country of Kentucky and to one other location that varies according to need. These young people spread the great news of the Gospel and learn the joy of service to others.
