World War II Veteran Retired After Many Years From Graphics Unlimited

Bishop Luke Hamilton, 88 of East Ridge, died on Wednesday, April 16, 2014.  

He was born Sept. 7, 1925, in Glen Alice, Tn., to the late Edwin Frank and Ellen Cooper Hamilton.

Mr. Hamilton was a member and deacon at Second Baptist Church of Chattanooga, and was retired after many years of service from Graphics Unlimited.  He was a United States Army veteran serving during World War II.

His brothers, Raymon and Otis Hamilton preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Betty Hamilton and son, James Hamilton, of Ooltewah. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 18, at 1:30 p.m. in the East Chapel with Reverend Spencer Johnson officiating.  Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, Feb. 17, from 5-8 p.m. and Friday from 12:30–1:30 p.m. at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 404 South Moore Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37412.
