Johnnie V. Templeton DeFriese, of Chattanooga, died at her home on Thursday, April 17, 2014 after a long illness.

She is survived by her husband, Donald G. DeFriese; and sons, Jimmy Harris, of Chattanooga, Charles Harris of Prescott, Az.; daughters, Judy Manning of Cave Springs, Ga., Kaye Vandergriff of Chattanooga; nieces, Ruth Appleget, of Chattanooga, and Peggie Harris, of Ringgold; several other nieces and nephews and several grand-nieces and nephews; and several grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 21, in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Art Jones officiating.  Private burial will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Flowers are welcome; however, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and or Palliative Care of Chattanooga.
