Sullivan's Grand Slam Leads Ooltewah Softball

Owls Top East Ridge, 16-0

Ooltewah second baseman Sloan Sullivan had her second grand slam of the season to lead the Owls past East Ridge, 16-0, in a high school softball three-inning contest Wednesday.

Sophomore Monica Thompson moves to 2-2 on the season with the win. She gave up three hits.

Sullivan was 3-3 with six RBIs, while Allie Jones was also 3-3 with two doubles and five RBIs.

Ashunti Cooper was 2-2 with a triple and three runs scored.

Freshman Tiera Lemon also scored three times.

Ooltewah moves to 9-5 (3-3 on District 5-AAA).
