Patsy Is Already Representing Our Community - And Response

  • Wednesday, June 25, 2014

Patsy Hazlewood is the most qualified candidate for state representative of District 27. Her variety of experiences from growing up on a farm in Alabama to organizing and founding Capital Mark Bank have made her a well-rounded lady who strives to make a difference through her work ethic and values. Patsy is a distinguished business lady, and her past efforts as regional director for Economic Development under Governor Haslam have given her insight to the concerns and hopes of businesses in the area, as well as how progress is made in Nashville.

When my company decided to expand our facilities in Chattanooga, Patsy helped through her position as regional director to find an 18,000 square foot facility. As a result of having a new expanded facility, we have hired six new employees.

I know that Patsy will concentrate to bring investment to our region, creating family-wage jobs, and increasing the education of our work force.

Patsy Hazlewood has been serving the public of Chattanooga for over 20 years. She has volunteered countless hours to civic organizations, such as the Rotary Club and United Way of Greater Chattanooga, and she has helped our region progress in economic development by recruiting businesses and increasing job opportunities for folks in the Chattanooga area in her position as regional director of Economic Development under the current governor.

As a public servant for over 20 years myself, a retired police sergeant, I want Patsy to represent me and my fellow residents of District 27 in Nashville because it is something she has already been doing for years, and she has done an outstanding job.

Patsy is a proven leader in business and in the community, and there are results to prove it.

Early voting starts July 18 and election day is Aug. 7. I encourage all residents of District 27 to make an effort to vote in the state representative election and vote for the candidate who has earned it, Patsy Hazlewood.
