Jimmy Williams, 62, of Summerville, GA, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014 while he was working with his employer Railworks Track System in Gadsden, AL.  

He graduated from Chattooga High School and he attended Auburn University.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Reuben and Daisey Lee Kincade Williams; four brothers; and one sister. 

He is survived by his devoted wife of 16 years, Robin Allen Williams of Summerville;  son, Jimmy (Joni) Williams Reese of Macon, GA; two step-sons, Maurice (Shona) Mosteller and Daniel Brent Mosteller, II ; six sisters, Daisey Mae Fifer of Rome, Bertha (Billy) Johnson, Mary Thurman, Dorothy Johnson, Helen Williams and Patricia Williams; three brothers, Lee Hudgins, Raymond Williams and David Williams all of Summerville; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jack Mosteller, George Johnson, Jimmy (Glenice) Thurman of Rome, Michael (Sandra) Allen of Cartersville, Jerry (Josephine) Allen of Atlanta, Brenda (David) Williamson, Vernon (Sandy) Thurman, Pam (Warren) Albert, Jr., Jimmy Allen, Annie (Harry) Harvey, of Summerville, Vanessa (John) Fain of Swanee, GA, Dudley (Gwen) Allen of Smyrna, Kathy Allen of Detroit, MI, Shirley (Dr. Donald) White of LaFayette, Patricia Allen of Cocoa, Florida and Zoe Ann Hart of Dalton; special aunts, Frankie Shropshire of Rome and Parrilee A. Shivers of Summerville; special nephews, Deddrick, Montez and Darrius Martin; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. 

Celebration of the life for Mr. Jimmy Williams will be Sunday, July 20, at 3 p.m. at North Summerville Baptist Church, 119 Maplewood Drive, Summerville, with his nephew Bishop Jackie Wilson officiating.  Interment will follow at Ami Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. 

Arrangements are by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton.
