Mahle Rallies To Claim Choo-Choo Title

Matthew Mahle ralled Wednesday and won the Choo-Choo Invitational at Council Fire.

Mahle trailed Nick Blakely by two strokes as he readied to play No. 16. Then on No. 18, Mahle rolled in an eagle putt to claim the title.

A sophomore at the College of Charleston, shot a 1-nder 71 on Wednesday and finished three-day tournament at 6-under 210.

He finished one shot ahead of Blakely and two ahead of Ole Miss sophomore Ben Wolcott and Chattanooga's Taylor Lewis.
