The 10-under Renegades out of Fort Oglethorpe defeated the Wolfpack of Gadsden, Ala., 9-6, to capture the 2014 Grand Slam of Baseball World Series title in Panama City, Fla., over the weekend.

The Renegades went 4-0-1 in the tournament, beating Walker, La., 12-4 and the Wolfpack while tying one game in pool play.

In bracket play the Renegades beat the Wolfpack, 6-5, with a game-winning single in the sixth inning. They then beat the Slammers of Newnan, Ga., 7-0, in the semifinals and handled the Wolfpack again for the championship.
