Brian Wood Harris, 71, of Apison, Tennessee, died on July 8, 2014 after a brief illness.
He was a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church and was retired from E.I. DuPont Company with 36 years of service. Brian loved to work his farm and enjoyed all his friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, the late David J. Harris, Sr.
Surviving relatives are his mother, Kathleen Harris, of Apison, brother, Jerry Harris of Apison, grandson, Michael Harris of Cleveland, and niece, Christy Smith of Charleston, Tn.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 10, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Sims officiating. The interment will follow in Plowman Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Harris, Johnny Pharr, Steve Housley, and Kenneth Howard.
