Gaynell Kinser
Gaynell Lindsey Kinser died on August 18, 2014, following her battle with cancer.
Born on Jan. 27, 1944, Gay was a native of Chattanooga attending Red Bank High School where she loved being a basketball, volleyball and softball player. She also lived and raised her family in Muscle Shoals, Al., and was employed by the Board of Education. She retired from TVA, Chattanooga after many years of service.
During the last 20 years, she has made her home in Red Bank and Hixson with her fiancé, Max Falk.
She was predeceased by her parents, D. C. and Lillian Lindsey and siblings, Jean McNice and Lelon (Butch) Lindsey.
Survivors include her fiancé, Max Falk; children, Billy Kinser and Heather Kinser Nelson; brother-in-law, Langston McNice; nieces, Susan Kirby and Cathy McNice; stepchildren, Stefanie Falk and Christian Falk (Kim Marie); grandchildren, Robin Berryman, Sydney Kinser and Patrick Nelson; step-grandson, Jared Falk; great-granddaughter, Isabella Saylor; as well as a large extended family and many dear friends.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 20, and 12-1 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 21, with the service to follow at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 21, with Robert Gross officiating at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace, 877-3524.
