Silver, Alva "Jane" Keener (Dalton)

Alva “Jane” Keener Silver, 75, of Dalton, GA, died on Monday, August 18, 2014. 

She was the daughter of the late Jess and Ruth Chastain; and was also preceded in death by her first and second husbands, David Keener and Doug Silver. 

Jane enjoyed wrestling and dance and was an avid Lady Vols fan. Above all she loved her family and friends. 

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Gina Cearly of Chatsworth, Sandi Keener of Decatur and Connie and Joe Lumpkin of Resaca; grandchildren, Jennifer Phillips, Chris Phillips, Tairen Landen, Candace Dyer, Zachary Lumpkin and Landon Lockhart-Keener; great-grandchildren, Dalyn Hall, Braylen Dyer, Laynee Landen, Rylee Landen and Bryce Dyer; and great-great-grandson, Elijah Lumpkin. 

Funeral Services for Jane will be Friday, August 22 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Brother Scott Parrish and Brother Clarence Keith officiating. Burial will follow at Whitfield Memorial Gardens. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 21 from 5-9 p.m. at Love Funeral Home, who has charge of arrangements.
