The Dalton State Roadrunners Men’s Basketball Booster Club will hold a “Four-Man Scramble” golf tournament at Nob North Golf Course on Friday, Sept. 19.

Club spokesman Lamar McClure said it will be a day of golf and fellowship to show support for Roadrunners basketball. Entry fee for the event is $500 per team or $125 for individuals. An additional $25 in advance can purchase four mulligans and one red tee.

The fee includes the round of gold, a cart, and lunch from Chick-Fil-A. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. until noon. A shot-gun for the tournament will be at noon.

“All proceeds from the tournament will be used by the men’s basketball team,” said McClure. “Our tournament last year was a great success and we are certain the Roadrunner supporters, players, and coaches will have a great time this year.”

Prizes for longest drive and closest to the pin will be awarded. “We would like to thank Roadrunner Golf Coach Ben Rickett for providing us with four Dalton State golf bags,” added McClure. Basketball related prizes will also be given.
