Jackie Thomas For School Board District 5

  • Thursday, August 7, 2014

I am supporting Jackie Thomas for the District 5 School Board seat because she has had a positive impact on the lives of the hardest kids to educate in any community, those in state custody.  I should know because I came through that system many years ago.  In addition, I served as PTA president at every level from K-12, worked with Junior Achievement, youth employment programs and as a probation officer.

That is why Jackie is my choice.  She has been in the trenches with me using her education in criminal justice and social work to be a strong positive guiding light with her kids. She continues to fight to keep them in school on a daily basis.  They respect her and thank her for leading them past the labels and barriers put in their pathways.

Join me at the polls on Thursday, Aug. 7, and vote for Jackie Thomas.  She will be a strong voice for our children.
