Phillip Chandler Bolden, 11, of Ringgold, died on Monday, September 22, 2014 at a local hospital, surrounded by his family, and his baseball and football family.
He was a student at Heritage Middle School and was active in sports, playing basketball, football, and baseball, and was an avid UT fan.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jake Oliver, and an uncle, Michael Oliver.
He is survived by his parents, Chad and Tina Bolden, Ringgold; a sister, Alexys Bolden, Ringgold; grandparents, Jimmy and Debbie Bolden, Pigeoon Forge, Tn., and Mike and Ruby Ellison, Rossville; his great-grandmother, Georgia Coker, Ringgold; an uncle, Todd (Rachel Goble) Bolden, Calhoun, Ga; aunts, Allison (Brandon Ledbetter) O’Dell, Chickamauga and Robin Bright, Pigeon Forge, Tn., and cousins, Rylan O’Dell, Wes Bolden, Brody Bolden, Zachary Bright, and Grayson Burrage.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 26, at Burning Bush Baptist Church with Kenny Reed officiating. The body will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the service. Entombment will be at Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 25, at Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
