4 Nominated For City IDB

City Council members on Tuesday nominated four members to open positions on the city Industrial Development Board.

Chosen were dentist Dr. Thomas Rumph, businessman Alan Lebovitz, Ray Adkins of Lookout Valley, and attorney Jimmy Rodgers.

The full Council will vote on all the nominees next Tuesday night.

Dr. Rumph and Mr. Lebovitz were chosen by Council members Chris Anderson, Moses Freeman, and Yusuf Hakeem.

Mr. Adkins, who has been on the IBD since 2006, was named by Chip Henderson, Jerry Mitchell, and Ken Smith.

Attorney Rodgers was named by Russell Gilbert, Carol Berz, and Larry Grohn.
